The Waukomis Chiefs will square off against the Turpin Cardinals at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the pair will really light up the scoreboard.
Waukomis entered their tilt with Coyle with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Waukomis came out on top against Coyle by a score of 55-42 on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Turpin entered their tilt with Buffalo with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Turpin took their game at home on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 61-32 victory over Buffalo.
Turpin can attribute much of their success to Gunner Post, who scored 16 points, and Bryson Parker, who scored 18 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Post has scored at least 25% of Turpin's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Saul Alvarado, who scored 9 points.
Waukomis' win lifted them to 3-0 while Coyle's loss dropped them down to 0-4.
