This season hasn't been kind to the Central Valley Falcons, who are still winless after their fourth match. They took a serious blow against Redding Christian on Friday, falling 73-42. Central Valley was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Redding Christian apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.
Loss or not, Central Valley got some senior leadership from Kanin Harris who scored 8 points and Hunter Sanderson who scored 9 points along with 7 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Michael Knight, who scored 6 points.
Central Valley bumped their record down to 0-4 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Redding Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
Central Valley and West Valley will face off at 2:30 p.m. on December 9th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. West Valley has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 2-1 during that stretch of close contests. Redding Christian will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Corning at 1:00 p.m. on December 9th. Hopefully Corning focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Friday.
