Two dominant backs in Marshall Holland and Reezin Stitt are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Cameron Dragons will head out to take on the Wahama White Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Cameron is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Meadow Bridge 46-8. With the Dragons ahead 30-8 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cameron to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kason Angel, who rushed for 15 yards and two TDs, and also threw for 41 yards and one touchdown. Those two rushing touchdowns gave Angel a new career-high.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Cameron was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 350 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 170 rushing yards in six consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Wahama got the win against Man on Saturday by a conclusive 48-22. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the White Falcons just coasted through the last quarter.
Wahama's win came from a few key players Cameron will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Trace Simpkins, who rushed for 37 yards and one score, and also threw for 50 yards and one touchdown on perfect 5-for-5 passing. Another player making a difference was Cooper Roush, who threw for 121 yards and a pair of TDs on only nine passes.
Cameron is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 33.8 points over those games. As for Wahama, their record is now 11-0.
Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Cameron has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 205.3 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Wahama struggles in that department as they've been averaging 333.8 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Cameron couldn't quite get it done against Wahama in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 as they fell 29-22. Can the Dragons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
