Bloomington Central Catholic had won two straight games and Allison Emm did her part to make it three on Monday. The Saints put the hurt on the Olympia Spartans with a sharp 55-34 win for which the team can thank Emm, who shot 57% from the field to rack up 25 points. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

Another player making a difference was Emme Hurie, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten rebounds. She also grabbed seven steals, which is notable because Bloomington Central Catholic is undefeated when she posts at least five steals, but 2-5 otherwise.

The victory got Bloomington Central Catholic back to even at 5-5. As for Olympia, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Bloomington Central Catholic and Camp Point Central will round out the year against one another at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Saints will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 54.11 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Olympia, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Tri-Valley at 5:30 p.m. on January 5, 2026.
