After having lost a blowout in their previous game against The King's Academy, The Calvary Christian Knights were happy to have found some success on Friday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 48-0 win over Rock Springs Christian Academy. The result was nothing new for Calvary Christian, who have now won three games by 26 points or more so far this season.
De'andre Heard got back to being his usual excellent self, as he rushed for 200 yards and four touchdowns on only 14 carries. Heard's longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Zevac, who rushed for 43 yards and two touchdowns.
Calvary Christian's win was their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 5-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 45.8 points per game. As for Rock Springs Christian Academy, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.
Coincidentally, Calvary Christian and Rock Springs Christian Academy will both be playing Skipstone Academy the next time they take the field. Rock Springs Christian Academy will host Skipstone Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Calvary Christian will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on November 3rd.
