It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Eagle Mustangs can now relate to. They were just a hair shy of victory on Friday and fell 7-6 to Coeur d'Alene. Eagle's defeat signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.
Eagle's loss dropped their record down to 10-1. As for Coeur d'Alene, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.
Eagle does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Coeur d'Alene will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Highland at 1:00 p.m. on November 18th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Idaho (Highland is ranked first, while Coeur d'Alene is ranked fifth).
