Athens entered their tilt with Berkley on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Bears get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 15-0 on Tuesday.

Angie Leonard made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over six innings pitched. Leonard was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Leah Dahlerup was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played. Addison Pokley was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Athens kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in three consecutive contests.

Athens' victory bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Berkley, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-20-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Athens is set to face off against their familiar foe Groves at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Berkley will square off against rival Royal Oak at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
