There's no place like home for The Peyton Panthers, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They took their contest at home on Thursday with ease, bagging a 45-7 win over Rocky Ford. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Peyton's 12-point performance the game before.
Noah Martin was a one-man wrecking crew for Peyton as he threw for 282 yards and five touchdowns while completing 85% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Martin's longest rush was for an incredible 81 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Brian Keairnes, who picked up 95 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Peyton's victory bumped their record up to 4-4. As for Rocky Ford, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Peyton will head out on the road to face off against Colorado Springs Christian at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. As for Rocky Ford, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Rye at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
