The Central Bucks East Patriots will head out on the road to face off against the Holy Ghost Prep Firebirds at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Central Bucks East took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They walked away with an 8-4 win over Central Bucks South. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Brody Wojnicki looked comfortable as he tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He is becoming a predictor of Central Bucks East's success: when he allows at most three earned runs the team is 2-1 (and 6-10 when he doesn't).
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Chase Fulford, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and five RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Cruz, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.
Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last contest, Holy Ghost Prep made sure to put some runs up on the board against Dock Mennonite on Monday. The Firebirds' pitchers stepped up to hand the Pioneers a 10-0 shutout. Considering the Firebirds have won six games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Matt Riendeau was a major factor no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over five innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Eddie Rosado was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. K.J. Freiband also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Holy Ghost Prep kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Holy Ghost Prep is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.4 runs over those games. As for Central Bucks East, their record now sits at 8-11.
Central Bucks East came out on top in a nail-biter against Holy Ghost Prep when the teams last played back in May of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Patriots since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
