The Center Hill Mustangs will head out on the road to face off against the Neshoba Central Rockets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
After only seven points in their last matchup, Center Hill made sure to put some points up on the board against Saltillo on Thursday. Center Hill blew past Saltillo 47-25. The victory was some much needed relief for Center Hill as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Meanwhile, Neshoba Central's game on Thursday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 16-8 victory over Callaway. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Neshoba Central.
Mekhi Gaddis was the offensive standout of the contest as he rushed for 168 yards and a touchdown.
Center Hill's win bumped their record up to 5-5. As for Neshoba Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season.
