Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Springstead). They breezed past the Crystal River Pirates to the tune of 39-0 on Thursday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Eagles considering their six-point performance the game before.

Springstead didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Briana Coleman, Anasofia Espinosa, and Driola Mulaj picked up one apiece. Coleman got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Springstead's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Crystal River, they dropped their record down to 1-9 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Springstead wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 13-6 loss against Nature Coast Tech on the 7th. As for Crystal River, they have also already played their next match, a 12-0 defeat against Central on the 7th.
