After soaring high against Clay Central-Everly last Friday, Icarus fell to the ground on Friday. North Iowa might be aching after a bruising 8-30 loss to Tripoli. If North Iowa were hoping to take revenge for the 0-42 defeat against Tripoli the last time the teams met, then they were left disappointed. The contest brought Tripoli to 2-1 and dropped North Iowa to a mirror-image 1-2.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week North Iowa take on Northwood-Kensett at 7:00 PM. Tripoli will look to defend their home turf against Riceville at 7:00 PM.
