Last Tuesday, University was able to grind out a solid win over Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory, taking the game 54-42. The win was just what University needed coming off of a 68-18 loss in their prior game.
University's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Hannah Grubbs, who scored 16 points along with 8 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Mackenzie Feeney, who scored 4 points along with 15 rebounds and 5 blocks.
Meanwhile, Anderson Prep Academy didn't have too much trouble with Hamilton at home on Saturday as they won 39-20.
Anderson Prep Academy found their leader in underclassman Arianna Flowers, who scored 15 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylynn Orr, who scored 11 points along with 9 rebounds.
The win got University back to even at 2-2. As for Anderson Prep Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: University have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 14.8 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Anderson Prep Academy struggles in that department as they've been even better at 34.4 per game.
