The Preston Indians won the last time they faced the Logan Grizzlies, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Preston took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 52-17 victory over Logan. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 32-10.
Preston got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ellie Nelson out in front who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Brytlee Harris, who scored 10 points along with 3 steals.
The victory makes it two in a row for Preston and bumps their season record up to 2-2. As for Logan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Preston will be playing at home against Shelley at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Shelley presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Preston in Idaho (Shelley is ranked 15th, while Preston is ranked 65th). As for Logan, they will head out on the road to face off against American Prep WV at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
