On Tuesday, everything came up roses for Stargate School on the road against Bruce Randolph as the squad secured a 73-24 victory. With Stargate School ahead 38-9 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Hunter Roark was the offensive standout of the match as he scored 18 points along with six rebounds and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Perkins, who scored 16 points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Stargate School and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Bruce Randolph, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-1.
Stargate School will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Thornton at 6:00 p.m. on December 8th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Colorado (Thornton is ranked 120th, while Stargate School is ranked 97th). As for Bruce Randolph, they will square off against Skyview at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Skyview focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Tuesday.
