In other batting news, Avery Frese was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Simon Rabe, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.
On Liberty's side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Devon Funk, who went 1-for-3 with a triple and an RBI.
Mendon Unity's victory bumped their record up to 19-5. As for Liberty, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-16.
