Westview had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 53-51 victory over the Clarksville Academy Cougars. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Chargers have posted since November 18, 2023.

Westview's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Clarksville Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-8.

Westview and Humboldt will round out the year against one another at at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Clarksville Academy, they will head out to challenge Friendship Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
