Franklin waltzed into their game on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 21-16 W against the Edgewood Cougars. 21 seems to be a good number for the Wildcats as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

Franklin's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Edgewood, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Franklin will host Brookville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Blue Devils' defense has only allowed 14.3 points per game this season, so the Wildcats' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Edgewood, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Monroe at 7:00 p.m.
