Henry Allen put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March on Wednesday. He struck out eight batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.
