The Memorial Red Devils stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They blew past Brookfield 77-50 at home. Winning may never get old, but Memorial sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
It was another big night for David Moore, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 18 rebounds. He hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for eight straight games. Teyon Harris was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
When it comes to explaining why Brookfield lost, one person who can't be blamed is Matteo Fortuna. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 30 points and 12 rebounds. Fortuna hasn't dropped below two steals for 16 straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Teagen Barbe, who scored six points.
Memorial has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for Brookfield, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.

As for Brookfield, they will face off against Newton Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Newton Falls is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 52.1 points per game this season.
