The Williamsburg Academy Stallions put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against Carolina Academy as Williamsburg Academy made off with a 74-49 victory. Williamsburg Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 24 points or more this season.
Williamsburg Academy can attribute much of their success to Conrad Balder, who scored 24 points. That's the first time this season that Balder scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Wes Smith, who scored 15 points.
Williamsburg Academy pushed their record up to 9-0 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.5 points per game. As for Carolina Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-4 record this season.
Williamsburg Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Christian Academy at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in South Carolina (Christian Academy is ranked 133rd, while Williamsburg Academy is ranked 117th). As for Carolina Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Orangeburg Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
