Keene Central's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Vann Morrelli, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 14 boards, and Peter Robjent, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 boards. Morrelli has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Brayden Harmer was another key player, going 5 of 8 on his way to 12 points and three blocks.
Keene Central was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Bolton Central had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Panthers 82-42. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 40 points or more this season.
Bolton Central found their leader in sophomore Jaxon Egloff, who went 8 of 15 on his way to 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sullivan Eager, who went 6 of 8 on his way to 12 points.
Bolton Central pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.2 points. As for Keene Central, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as Keene Central and Bolton Central are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Keene Central hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 55.4 points per game. However, it's not like Bolton Central struggles in that department as they've been averaging 64 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
