The Meek Tigers were the 53-15 winner over the Cullman Christian Lions when they last played one another back in November of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Meek fell 58-51 to Cullman Christian on Monday.
Despite the defeat, Meek saw an underclassman step up: Aleah Addison scored 21 points. The game was Addison's fifth in a row with at least ten points.
Meek's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Cullman Christian, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.
Meek will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Sumiton Christian at 5:30 p.m. Sumiton Christian is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. As for Cullman Christian, they will square off against Coosa Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
