After a disappointing seven points in their last matchup, Glen Rock made sure to put some points up on the board against Manchester Regional two weeks ago. Glen Rock made easy work of Manchester Regional and carried off a 40-14 win. With Glen Rock ahead 27-7 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Meanwhile, if Lodi were riding high off their 35-14 takedown of Palisades Park/Leonia, that ride came to an abrupt end. Lodi suffered a grim 13-41 defeat to Rutherford last Friday. Lodi's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Glen Rock's victory lifted them to 4-1 while Lodi's defeat dropped them down to 3-3. In their victory, Glen Rock relied heavily on junior Greg Schlett, who passed for 313 yards and 5 touchdowns. Lodi will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
