It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 75-40, which was the final score in West Lincoln's tilt against the Blue Devils on Tuesday. West Lincoln has struggled against the Blue Devils recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Bunker Hill fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They snuck past West Caldwell with a 45-40 win on Tuesday.
Damireona Burch was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 12 rebounds. Megan Starnes was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with eight rebounds and two blocks.
West Lincoln has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for Bunker Hill, their win bumped their record up to 5-14.
Everything came up roses for West Lincoln against the Bears in their previous meeting back in January as the team secured a 56-29 win.
