The Carver Yellowjackets scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Bethany, posting a 86-39 victory on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Carver has posted since December 1, 2023.
Jeremiah Glaspie was his usual excellent self, scoring 26 points along with six rebounds and six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaqarius Houston, who scored seven points along with eight assists and seven steals.
Carver has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-7 record this season. As for Bethany, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.
Carver will be playing at home against Bishop McGuinness at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bishop McGuinness is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road. Bethany won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Clover Garden School at 7:30 p.m. on January 17th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in North Carolina (Clover Garden School is ranked 651st, while Bethany is ranked 675th).
