Douglas waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They walked away with a 58-51 victory over the Geraldine Bulldogs. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 64-45 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Douglas is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.6 points per game. As for Geraldine, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Douglas will be home for the holidays to greet Kate Duncan Smith DAR at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Geraldine, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Fyffe at 7:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
