Trey Moran Turns in Season-Best Performance
Sadly, Trey Moran posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead West Boca Raton over Western on Friday. Moran threw for 170 yards and three touchdowns while completing 78.6% of his passes, and also rushed for 52 yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
West Boca Raton moved to 5-1 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak. Moran and West Boca Raton will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bishop Verot at 7:00 p.m. on October 18th.
