Ethan Crowe of Southwest ran for the longest rushing play in Platte Valley (8 Man) this season against DeKalb last week. Crowe's team bested the Tigers as he sprinted for 70 yards on the play and finished with 214 in all.
North Andrew extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating South Nodaway, 52-6. The victory was the eighth in a row for the team.
Union Star's Nick Palmer and Jake Mitchell have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Palmer has thrown for 1313 yards this season, while Mitchell, a 6-foot-2 receiver, has 38 catches for 727 yards. Crowe from Southwest leads the league in rushing with 1526 yards.
Tyler Anderson's team took down DeKalb 50-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Crowe threw for 85 yards and three touchdowns in the win.
