The victory was some much needed relief for Roanoke Rapids as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Shaniah Daniels was her usual excellent self, almost dropping a triple-double on 20 points, 18 rebounds, and nine blocks. Daniels is crushing the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Alexis Bednarczyk, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds.
Roanoke Rapids' victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-10. As for Southern Nash, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-11.
