Fox Creek unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Airport by a score of 54-51.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Connor Cannon, who scored 18 points along with three steals. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Justin Vining was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Meanwhile, Jefferson County's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They were dealt a 74-23 loss at the hands of Washington County. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Jefferson County has scored all season.
Fox Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Jefferson County, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-7.
