The Lutheran-Northeast Eagles had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They breezed by Wisner-Pilger on the road to the tune of 79-37. For Lutheran-Northeast, this counts as revenge for the 46-29 defeat Wisner-Pilger walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2022.
Lutheran-Northeast got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Braden Feddern out in front who scored 21 points along with 4 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Rojas, who scored 20 points along with 3 steals.
Lutheran-Northeast's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Wisner-Pilger, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Guardian Angels Central Catholic the next time they take the court. Wisner-Pilger will head out to face Guardian Angels Central Catholic on Friday, while Lutheran-Northeast will host them on Saturday.
