Two dominant  signal callers in  Josh Reynoso and  JACOB ANZALDUA are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Twentynine Palms Wildcats will head out to  square off against the Banning Broncos  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Twentynine Palms has given up an average of 26.2  points per game this season, but Friday's  game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Twentynine Palms is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 38  points  last Friday, they were much more limited against Desert Hot Springs  on Thursday. They were dealt  a  36-6 loss at the hands of the Golden Eagles. The Wildcats have struggled against the Golden Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile,  Banning played a tough  matchup  on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost  62-42 to Yucca Valley. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game  back in September (41), the Broncos still had to take the loss.
 Twentynine Palms will have to contain  JMARI GARLINGTON as he made an impact in Banning's last game. He picked up 305 receiving yards and three  scores.  JADONNIE NICHOLS was another key player, picking up 81 receiving yards and a pair of  touchdowns.
 The  defeat was their first  on the road , dropping their record down to 4-2. As for Twentynine Palms, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.
 Twentynine Palms came up short against Banning in their previous meeting  back in October of 2024, falling  31-26. Can the Wildcats avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
