On Friday Turtle Mountain take on Central Cass at 7:30 PM. After both teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one of them is set up to suffer a discouraging change of fortune.
Turtle Mountain have had to suffer through a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took the contest and then some with a 36-0 win last Friday over Watford City. The high-flying offensive effort was a definite turnaround from Turtle Mountain's flat performance the match before.
Meanwhile, Central Cass put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They made easy work of Grafton/St. Thomas/Drayton and carried off a 34-6 victory. The success made it back-to-back wins for Central Cass.
Their wins bumped Central Cass to 5-1 and Turtle Mountain to 3-3. With both Turtle Mountain and Central Cass swaggering in after impressive performances, it will be interesting to see which team steps up to teach the other some humility.
