Excel extended their postseason success on Monday against Hillcrest. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Jaguars a 19-0 shutout. The Panthers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Excel has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 20-14 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Hillcrest, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-11.

Excel didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 10-0 loss against T.R. Miller on the 28th. Hillcrest does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
