The Logos Prep Academy Lions lost against the Legacy Prep Christian Academy Lions back in November of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Logos Prep Academy was dealt a 82-16 loss at the hands of Legacy Prep Christian Academy. Logos Prep Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 54-10.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Legacy Prep Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Hailey Carr, who scored 16 points along with seven steals and six assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Carr has scored all season. Molly Steed was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 17 points and ten steals.
Logos Prep Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Legacy Prep Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Logos Prep Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Second Baptist University-Model at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Legacy Prep Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Cypress Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cypress Christian is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
