The Carlin Railroaders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Truckee, falling 42-7.
Bretta Melendez was Carlin's leading scorer, having posted three points.
Elizabeth Clancy held things down on the boards with six rebounds.
Carlin's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Truckee, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Coral Academy of Science - Reno the next time they take the court. Carlin will head out to face Coral Academy of Science - Reno at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, while Truckee will head out to face them at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
