Bensalem took down Central Bucks East 69-54 on Friday. For Bensalem, this counts as revenge for the 60-57 defeat Central Bucks East walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2023.
Bensalem's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaidyn Moffitt, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Moffitt has scored at least 25% of Bensalem's points. Another player making a difference was Amir Drummond, who scored 18 points.
Bensalem pushed their record up to 10-1 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Central Bucks East, their defeat ended a eight-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 10-3.
Bensalem will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Central Bucks West at 7:00 p.m. Central Bucks West has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. Central Bucks East's road trip will continue as they head out to face Harry S. Truman at 7:00 p.m. on January 9th. Harry S. Truman will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 610th, while Central Bucks East is ranked 59th).
