Meanwhile, Carrington's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their eighth straight loss. They were dealt a 72-40 defeat at the hands of Thompson. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Carrington in their matchups with the Tommies: they've now lost eight in a row.
Harvey's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Carrington, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-14.
Harvey came up short against the Cardinals in their previous meeting back in February of 2016, falling 59-48. Can Harvey avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
