The Bridge to Independence Wildcats pushed their score all the way to 75 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. The match between Bridge to Independence and North Kissimmee Christian wasn't particularly close, with Bridge to Independence falling 91-75. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game last Monday (61), Bridge to Independence still had to take the loss.
Bridge to Independence's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaydan Jeantinord, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 13 rebounds. Jeantinord hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jvarius Gibson, who scored 22 points along with five rebounds.
Bridge to Independence has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season. As for North Kissimmee Christian, they pushed their record up to 18-4 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bridge to Independence's road trip will continue as they head out to face Star Athletes Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd. As for North Kissimmee Christian, they will take on International Community at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. International Community is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
