They just played last night, but they'll still head out to face the John Paul II Catholic Saints at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Even though Southeastern Christian Academy scored an imposing 59 points on Thursday, Coastal Christian still came out on top. Coastal Christian managed a 65-59 win over Southeastern Christian Academy.
Aidan Davies continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 33 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Holden Martin, who scored 14 points.
Meanwhile, John Paul II Catholic's three-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. In a tight match that could have gone either way, they made off with a 48-47 victory over Arendell Parrott Academy.
Coastal Christian now has a winning record of 13-12. As for John Paul II Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 6-12.
Coastal Christian beat John Paul II Catholic 64-52 when the teams last played last Tuesday. The rematch might be a little tougher for Coastal Christian since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
