After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lutheran, the Palmer Ridge Bears were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Lewis-Palmer as Palmer Ridge made off with a 46-21 win. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Palmer Ridge had established a 23 point advantage.
Kylie Mayer went supernova for Palmer Ridge, scoring 20 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mayer has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Delanie Mcmullen, who scored nine points along with six rebounds.
When it comes to explaining why Lewis-Palmer lost, one person who can't be blamed is Morgan Blakesley. Despite the final result, she scored four points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Blakesley hasn't dropped below two steals for six straight games.
Palmer Ridge is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. As for Lewis-Palmer, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-6.
