Covenant Academy is a perfect 6-0 against Central Georgia Arts since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Rams will challenge Central Georgia Arts at 4:00 p.m. Covenant Academy has given up an average of 7.4 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Covenant Academy's offense. They lost 12-0 to Taylor County on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Rams' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Covenant Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Asa Wood, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. Grant Reidl also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Central Georgia Arts). Everything went their way against Community Christian Academy on Wednesday as they made off with a 17-4 victory. Central Georgia Arts hasn't had any issues with Community Christian Academy recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Anderson Bloodworth was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. He is becoming a predictor of Central Georgia Arts' success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 7-1 (and 8-9 when he doesn't). Harrison Strange was another key player, going 3-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Central Georgia Arts kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 19 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Central Georgia Arts' victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-10. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Covenant Academy, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 8-11 record.
