Stambaugh has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances. At bat,  Stambaugh  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-2, while  Adkins  scored a  run while going 1-for-1.
 In other batting news,  Scarlett McCarty was a standout: she went 1-for-2 with two  runs, a  triple,  and a  stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jadyn Estep, who  went 2-for-3 with four  RBI and two  runs.
 Johnson Central's win bumped their record up to 13-11. As for Paintsville, their loss was  their third straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 6-11.
