Meanwhile, Decatur faced Hermitage in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Decatur took down Hermitage 56-36. Maybe the Decatur offense has finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance is a 180-degree turn from their last 3 games.
Decatur's win lifted them to 1-4 while Augusta's defeat dropped them down to 3-2. After the lofty point totals in their previous games, we'll see if they're able to heat things up even more while facing each other.
