The Victor Valley Jackrabbits came tearing into Thursday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They skirted past Granite Hills 64-61. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Victor Valley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from ISAIAH BUTLER, who scored 19 points. BUTLER has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of ELIJAH WEAVER, who scored 13 points.
Victor Valley now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Granite Hills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Victor Valley will square off against Adelanto at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Adelanto has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 271 points over their last four matches. Granite Hills' road trip will continue as they head out to face Silver Valley at 5:30 p.m. on January 29th. Silver Valley will be looking to keep their 11-game home win streak alive.
