After two weeks on the road, Harding County is heading back home. On Friday they take on Newell at 7:00 PM. Harding County are cruising in on a three-game winning streak while Newell are stumbling in off of six consecutive losses.
Harding County put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season last Friday. Everything came up roses for them against Dupree as the team secured a 42-0 win. No one put up better numbers for Harding County than junior Zack Anders, who brought his A game into the match. He picked up 69 yards on the ground and caught passes for 76 yards. Anders has now scored at least one touchdown in the past 7 games.
Meanwhile, there's no need to mince words: Newell lost to Lemmon/McIntosh, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 0-46.
Harding County were fully in charge the last time the two teams met, breezing past Newell 58-6. Will Harding County repeat their success, or does Newell have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
