The Terry Bulldogs have been a dominant force so far but will be looking to break out of a two-game mini slump. They fell 41-32 to Germantown on Tuesday. Terry has struggled against Germantown recently, as their game on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Madison Jones, who scored 5 points along with 3 blocks. Jones is absolutely dominating the block category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Harmonie Neal, who scored 10 points along with 6 rebounds.
Germantown can attribute much of their success to Raegan Jordan, who scored 16 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Charlie Gamberine, who scored 11 points.
Terry's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 6-2. As for Germantown, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Terry is on the road again on Friday and play against Raymond at 6:00 p.m. on December 8th. Raymond will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Mississippi Rankings (they are ranked 182nd, while Terry is ranked 41st). As for Germantown, they will head out on the road to face off against Brandon at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Brandon is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
