The Pleasanton Bulldogs can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. They blew past Central Valley 52-29. The win was some much needed relief for Pleasanton as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Natalie Rasmussen was her usual excellent self, scoring 16 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Tyra Sekutera was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Central Valley lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Maddie Clark, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds. Clark continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Mia Butcher, who scored six points.
Pleasanton's win bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Central Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-9.
Pleasanton will head out on the road to challenge Loomis at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Nebraska (Pleasanton is ranked 178th, while Loomis is ranked 170th). As for Central Valley, they will be playing at home against Twin Loup at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Twin Loup is coming into the matchup with four straight losses on the road, meaning Central Valley will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win.
