The Academy of Notre Dame Lancers lost against the Northeast Metro RVT Knights back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Academy of Notre Dame took a serious blow against the Knights, falling 82-47. Academy of Notre Dame was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-24.
Northeast Metro RVT's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jack Murphy led the charge by scoring 15 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Murphy has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Chris Zullo, who scored 15 points along with five assists and two steals.
This is the second loss in a row for Academy of Notre Dame and nudges their season record down to 5-7. As for Northeast Metro RVT, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-8.
Academy of Notre Dame will take on the Minuteman at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northeast Metro RVT, they will head out on the road to face off against the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
